The Baltimore Ravens are the top team in our rankings this week. The Colts took care of a solid group of the Denver Broncos, and on 4-1, Baltimore is now at the top of the AFC North. The Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to battle in the Division until year end.
The jets were picked as the favourites in the AFC East, and after an opening game loss to the Cowboys, New York has responded with four straight victories. That has pushed the jets for the Steelers number two this week. Pittsburgh drops to number three after a bye this past weekend.
The Atlanta Falcons are the first NFC team this week and they come in at number four. The Falcons only defeat of the season came in the opener against the Steelers on the road.Tampa, another team from the South of the NFC whose sole loss to Pittsburgh, rounds out the top five.
Chicago breaks back in the top ten in number six after the restoration of a devastating loss to the Giants.New York, despite the fact that two losses, to seven hours this week after the routing of the Houston Texans for their second straight victory. Kansas City took their first loss of the year and is number eight.
New England and New Orleans are the last two teams in this week's top ten. The Patriots had a bye this past week and when they return, they will without wide receiver Randy Moss, who has traded to Minnesota. the Saints let another team stick around, and she paid the price because they were defeated by Arizona.
